Welcome to Module 2: Trauma Informed Care Principles in Action. In this module, we will explore the 3 R's and the 6 key components of Trauma Informed Care. We will use case studies, videos, scripts, and more to support applied or "real world" learning to take the conceptual and make it actionable.

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

1. Recognize the prevalence of trauma in the general public. 
2. Identify the signs & symptoms of trauma. 
3. Describe the six core principles of TIC and associated practical actions. 
4. Choose practical strategies for a trauma-informed care practice. 

In each module, there will be lessons focused on each of the learning objectives. You will find a lesson introduction, a video lesson with me, related treatment resources (think papers, handouts, videos), and self-reflection questions. So go ahead and download the slides for this module & set aside about 2 hours to cover Module 2.
